Any training related to Active Shooters and Terrorism related to the latest trends and tactics are important. The simulations added an element to the class that was beneficial once you learned how to maneuver the devices.

It was beneficial getting to see all the different pieces work together to resolve emergency situations.

Using different terminology and taking away the NYPD rank structure made the exercises more complicated then they needed to be.

This course would be better for executives as oppossed to police officers. I felt most of the material was over my head.

I think everyone should have tactical training in active shooter before taking this course.

This field is required so I will say the delays caused by technical glitches.

The instructors were excellent. They were encouraging, patient, helpful, and were superb facilitators during the exercises. I just want to say thank you to the cadre. There is not much more you could add to the course. I believe time management was very successful.

ATIRC, more ICS, and more coordinated attack training.

Role playing. It was important to use the radio and learn how to communicate alot of information in a chaotic environment. It was valuable to see just how much information needs to be take in and addressed.
