This course is one of the best ICS courses I have taken. De-mystifies the active shooter task list for command officers from the FD. Outstanding course and cadre.

The interaction between Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS and Dispatchers. The reason I believe this to be true is the fact in these types of incidents all disciplines will be involoved.

Sometimes the simulators bogged us down just trying to figure out how to use them.

I would like to see one designated person at the casualty collection point to oversee and organize.

Ongoing training and bringing the information to the rest of the region. The training was fantastic. I don't want it to go to waste. We need to get everyone on board.

Possibly talking about the IED side as it was more geared towards law vs Fire.

More time to do simulations and possibly bring in new people to do the simulations as well.

Our area needs to have all the LEO and Fire/EMS persons start practiving together so that we have a coordinated response.
