I was the only PIO in the class and I felt the program was fantastic. I was able to get a lot of reps in and consistent planning and understanding what I need to do in a critical with agencies I have never worked with. I really liked the template and I recommend providing that to any PIOs that attend so they can print out a bundle and not use your supplies. i.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

The scenarios and the team work. PIOs aren't exactly the favorite position to work with in these types of circumstances.

The Law Enforcement aspects to active shooter incidents was very helpful. It was good to see what emt/fire deals with as well.

There were some aspects that did not apply to law enforcement. I understand this class is for many different fields though.

Some glitches in the software that need fixing. Nothing major though.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to practice in real life clearing rooms and saving lives. I know that I need to speak with my colleges to make sure everyone is prepared.

Acting far out of my current rank, but even then it was good exposure for career development.

Potentially having some discussion and then physical activity about movement and treatment as part of an RTF before transitioning to the sims.

Additional courses like this one, especially if they include physical scenarios treating patients with force protection in an RTF.

I thought the course was TRULY EXCELLENT. I encourage and advocate for funding to continue. I have text several of my command staff that I wish this course could be taught to our agency and we could bring the team to our PD for training.
