Exposure to the operational level that should be at play during these types of scenarios. (Too often people operate within their own "cylinder of excellence" and are not aware of things happening laterally or up and down the task force structure. This not only provided awareness to those secondary, tertiary an ancillary activities...it forced participants to function in those capacities.
