I liked that I was put in command for most of the scenarios. It is not a position that I fill at all, and it provided good experience and insight.

The practical exercises were most valuable to me. You can have all the planning in the world before an incident kicks off, but as the old adage goes, "no battle plan survives first contact with the enemy." It was good to put my knowledge into practice and experience firsthand how quickly your expectations of a given situation change.

Everything was the most valuable to me based on the experience I had in this class. I feel able enough to take command of a scene being at the entry level i am in my career and I have the knowledge to run the incident smoothly.
