The contact team is most valuable because this role plays a huge part in my role as an officer. As an officer it would be duty to be on the contact and knowing what I must do once we make entry into a hot zone warm zone and cold zone.

The command course was least valuable because my role as an officer and the knowledge of the section does not apply to me. This section is for higher command to understand.

Understanding the staging is important for the fact that in the staging zone EMS may need officer's assistance with patients or may need additional direction of what is going on and where to go once they need to move to the transport location.
