I appreciated the practical exercises, as I feel that it helped me to reinforce and practice the skills that were discussed.

I think the least valuable to me was that the IED section felt a little breezed through. I think a little more detail about recognizing devices would have been beneficial.

I think it would be beneficial to spend a little more time with the practical exercises, even after the first PIO briefing has been completed.

The scenarios were the best part of the class.

The number of the scenarios. It seemed to get repetitive.

There should be a built in delay when moving patients. The time it takes to move the patients to the AEP should be more real life. This is a very taxing and time consuming event and it will use up your RTF units. In addition, the RTF unit should stay with the patients. I found patients laying in the AEP with no paramedics.

I never had an opportunity to go to several "stations" (TAC/TRIAGE, Area Command, or other areas), and repeated the contact team multiple times. If the instructors would pre-assign all people ahead of time to ensure we all got the same training. Also, having so many contact teams is not incident management training, it's tactical training, and seemed repetitive in this course.
