The chance to speak with EMS, Fire and dispatch in a unified training setting.

Staging, the concept of delaying LE response when a shooter is at large in order to group up LE officers seems absurd. Once the shooter is down or fled, it makes much more sense, but delaying the initial response to establish a staging area seems to show an odd sense of what is the priority.

Focus on rapid initial LE response followed by establishing staging and RTFs once the shooter is dead or fled.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Training with the lower rank deputies, in order to have a planned response to an attack.

The repeated scenarios and moving pieces took it past a table top exercise and made it close to "real" without the time and logistics.

Computer hiccups and tech glitches made some aspects difficult. Tactical mistakes were made because tech issues.

Updated software, maybe steering wheels, using ACTUAL medical skills and not button clicks.

The breakdown of the different command elements in a "hands on" style was excellent.

The interactive simulation is an incredible idea. The current version has a lot of glitches to work through to make the sim-world better. The only negative of the course is the quality of the simulation world and interaction with the players. I realize it is not PS5, but the training would benefit from enhanced graphics and interaction capability.

Great instructors and adequate content for entry-level command course in this field.
