Seeing how the whole parts worked together to bring the scenarios to resolution.

As PIO, I felt separated from the rest of the group. I felt the press conference repetitions were important, but I would have like to rotate through some of the other positions.

Most of the instructors were extremely knowledgeable and approachable. They didn't make you feel stupid for asking questions and were willing to help understand the material.

Getting my dispatchers through Hostage Negotiations.

Double check if there are live units available but not being utilized at large scenarios and let them take a position at another location that needs a live person.

The scenarios were fantastic and really helped enforce the lecture content. I think this has been one of the BEST classes that I have ever taken. Can't say enough about the instructors. Fantastic job organizing this training!.

The practical exercises were a great benefit to me. They helped put theory and practice together for me.

All parts were cohesive and needed to in order to supply students with the experience. Although the lecture portion was less exciting, without it the practical portions would not make sense.

Keep the excitement in your instruction. I'm not sure if it is possible, but earbuds would be helpful to assist with radio feedback.

I am now more interested in command level NIMS type courses.
