The scenarios offered practical experience and a big picture of the operations during an active shooter incident. This has significantly increase my understanding of the response and operations of our LE and the coordination and communication that I can offer.

I think the most valuable aspect of the course was the computer component. Lecturing is great, but getting to apply the newly gained knowledge in as close to real world as possible is PHENOMENAL experience.

Physically seeing operations of mass incidents.

Hands on scenarios and a de-briefing after each scenario. The de-brief brought light to obstacles that each person had to better understand ways to overcome them.
