As EMS, we didn't get a whole lot of practice on how we would interact with triaging patients, the RTF, what responsibilities the Triage/Tranport officer have, etc.

More structured hands on simulation would be great.

The table top exercises were great. I think we do not do enough of this type of activity in training. I am an instructor in my agency and we spend a fair amount of time on training tactics/techniques but this training helped me to realize we should do more tabletop type scenarios so everyone understands the big picture and how this will all work together.

Tabletop scenarios were little chaotic with so many moving parts - as would be a real scene, I get that, but maybe slow things down for reps in training so everyone can see/hear what's going on at the different stations. Knowing the basics of what other jobs are doing can help train people in a well rounded way and increase effectiveness. I also understand training time is limited and the slower pace or more reps is not always doable.
