The practical portion helped to put the concepts into practice and visually assist in comprehension of how it would look in a real time scenario.

I took this course as a dispatcher, so there were parts of this that don't pertain to me, however, this was to be expected. The generalized understanding I took out of this would undoubtedly still assist my mind set and understanding of what was happening on scene in a real time active shooter event therefore elevating my abilities to work through the scenario.
