The practical exercise. They tied all of the lessons together and helped me to understand different roles and how they all work together after an incident.

Reinforcement of terminology that may be new to some. Stressing the importance of staging; a concept not used often enough in real world situations.

Helicopter simulator - I'll never do that, but it didn't negatively impact the class in any way.

This class surpassed my expectations. I would like for it to start later than 0800 - but that's only because I had to drive so far.
