As a dispatcher, working with units that are typically on the other side of the radio gave me a better understanding of the things that they are experiencing all while doing the job that I was supposed to do.

All of it was useful and structured in a way that allows the whole picture from initial contact with dispatch through to the finish. It is hard to replicate that in a scenario but in this class it accomplished what i wanted out of the class.

Being able to watch what my responders do (LEO, FD, EMS) I am stuck in a room and this gave me an idea of what they're going through. When I have to notate where the CCP is, I now know what the CCP is.
