Area command - good to get my feet wet. I don't have enough experiece to really know how to actually operate in this position.

There were people of high rank in this class who on multiple occasions were always in low level roles. While this isn't bad, it would have given them better oportunity to practice their skills by putting them in more appropriate positions.

Provide more thorough instruction on operations of the computer simulated program to ensure that all operators understand how to move, triage patients, tag patients, move/load patients. Remove the computer learning curve from the scenario portion.

Scramble the participants more so that you are not on rigs with the same person, or people from your own agency. It would be better to work with other people. Also have more maps of the locations available to use in the practicals, due to space, and the ability to write on them.

Speed up the videos. They seem to be a bit long.

Additonal scenario based courses. Perhaps a course to build upon this one with more scenarios. I'd also like to see the NIMSpro3 to be a moblie course that could be set up in a city for police and fire to run thru scenarios from different physical locations.

Improvements would be very hard. Class was direct, timely, didn't fall behind on time and material was very effectively covered. Nice Job!.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I will continue to learn more command positions as that is where my rank leaves me. This helped me to better learn staging-triage-transport. IC and PIO will be a focus in the future.
