The simulations were excellent. It gave people an opportunity to experience different roles during an incident and the challenges associated with each role. The availability of the technology really enhanced the experience.

Having all the departments work together and learn what everyone else's needs are.

The only thing that was hard to follow was having EMS basically as the same thing. Our fire and EMS are separate so at times it made it hard to follow and apply it to our agency.

Being thrown into IM roles and having the ability to see how it would play out with real people, accurate patients, thorough feedback, and isolated locations. Practicing practical skills shortly after lectures made them relevant and important.

Learning how to engage/neutralize threats. Not because I didn't learn, but because It isn't my field and never touched it within IM.

Was a great course. Would like to have seen more people come, and also had more time to really get into reunification, and setting up IM areas but that's not at the fault of the course.

This course has increased my awareness of other courses available and has absolutely influenced my curiosity/determination to learn more about IEDs, Triage, dispatch, and other ICS/NIMS systems.
