I learned most from the lecture periods.

Area command portions of the course were very difficult to simulate and simulations did not relate well to regional realities. I think area command would be best taught through lecture and discussion rather than through simulation.

The practical events, the added stress help me see where i stand and what i can accomplish. the instruction was great too, open to all questions and made sure all questions were answered.

For me personally i would benefit from a 40 hours course and the first two days could be walking thorugh events and going over each position in detail. having walkthrough events would make me feel more comfortable.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Having the same set up for things like fire ground operations, medical calls, vehicle extrication for things like command, ops and scene management. I would like this course to expand to those opportunities.
