The scenarios with practicing management. I have drilled with RTFs and treating victims, however, this is the first time I have trained with the expansion and organization of an incident. Overall a solid class and great instructors.

As a firefighter, there are a lot of law enforcement parts that are not relevant. I understand it is needed for the course.

The layout of the course. It is three days and gets very repetitive by day 3. Day one could be LE information and scenarios. Day 2 could be FD/EMS information and scenarios (cops get the day off). Day 3 everyone comes together to put it all together with multiple scenarios.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Making sure my department knows these protocols and getting our SOPs updated and personnel trained.

The emphasis on staging and the Tactical/Triage/transport was useful as this is often over looked and resources seem to clog the arteries of the scene in real life.

I thought it was all valuable. Running the ambulance was easy, but easy was good every once in a while.

The practical evolutions were awesome, was nice to be able to run multiple scenarios throughout the class. The use of first person computer was a very nice touch.
