Command and control simulations. The logistics, CAD, command boards etc were all effective and useful.

The simulation portion on the computer was less effective and valuable. It was cool but caused more confusion than benefit.

The repeated scenarios and case reviews of previous incidents.

Some of the specific ICS divisions and terminology was different from how we deploy units in our region and how we've trained. These elements could have been discussed beforehand and addressed by FD/LE units from the region to help bridge the gap of OUR world and the curriculum.

Hands down some of the most competent and engaging instructors I've had for any class. Amazing delivery!.

Unrealistic drills that do not mirror the way we run calls.

Update the computer interface for scenarios- there were far too many computer gliches and issues that got in the way of being able to conduct the drills.

Taking on role that challenged me at my skill level- ex: staging manager.
