Practice for position specific is imperative. I am a BC that was assigned to RTF and ambulance several times. Identify positions that would be in a strategic and tactical position during blue skies and allow them to fill those positions they would normally fill.

Need new microphones, had issues over the 3 days. Also on the IED simulation at the airport (1st sim on 3rd day), FD response would be to go to the scene where the car ran over people. not set up staging. If something changes, then response would change.

Do a full debrief on each scenario. The one where I was the triage officer, we did not do a full debrief and therefore I do not know how well it went.
