The hands on experience of being in a role i would not otherwise be first in line for; Allowed me to gain understanding of a leadership role without risk of failure.

I would have liked to have dove deeper into the initial setup of the scene as first arriving engine, rather than having the spositions set up.

The practical exercises. We got to see in a simulated environment, the chaos, confusion and challenges that will be present to us in a real life incident.

This course was a great way for our agencies to see how complex an Active Shooter Incident will be. It gave us insight into things that we need to continue to practice going forward.

Continued cross training with agencies that will respond to an Active Shooter Incident in our area.
