Acting far out of my current rank, but even then it was good exposure for career development.

Potentially having some discussion and then physical activity about movement and treatment as part of an RTF before transitioning to the sims.

Additional courses like this one, especially if they include physical scenarios treating patients with force protection in an RTF.

Area command for this size of class. Due to not enough students, it made it unrealistic.

The practical exercises were excellent.

The reunification section does not really apply to my field of the fire service. It was good to review that portion but the exercise was not realistic for my position.

In the simulator, it would be good to block others from moving patients that are currently being assessed by other participants.

Hands on active attacker exercises with role players as patients that we can actually put our hands on, assess, treat, and extricate.

I would suggest instructors spend time before the class researching local agency policies regarding AS events. This will help them adjust their lessons for the style of deployment the agencies are used to.
