Which part(s) of the course was MOST valuable to you. Please explain why.

The practical simulations, particularly when placed as command or in another staff position somewhat out of my comfort zone. Training in real time was very useful. I like that this wasn't one of the dreaded "death by powerepoint" sort of classes; the emphasis on scenarios was excellent for learning. All ICS classes should be conducted like this.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

A lot of the "street level" stuff on day 1 was annoying to me. Specifically the portion on IDC. Treatment during ITC shoule never include time wasting skills like splinting or especially IVs unless you're sheltering in place for some reason. Also, the video of the person doing the TQ was ridiculous. Took way too long, and if that person were in my ASE class, I'd have failed them.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

Be sure to discourage staging from utilizing Ambulances for staff positions. All that said, this was a very good class. Waste of a transport unit.

Building upon these higher level skills.

Some of the large scale incidents weren't as helpful to me because of a lack of large airports in my home area.
