The allocation of resources. Simply, because I do not have experience as an emergency responder.

The potential for more hands-on experience and applying it directly to the areas where instructing the course. It may create a more personal experience for some of the attendees.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Training such as this was beneficial for me because I have never been a part of a mass incident scenario. I think that I may now be better prepared to aid my agency if something like this happens in my city. At least, I hope so.

I appreciated being able to work the training from all angles including media releases. I would honestly like fewer scenarios with each scenario being longer.

Honestly, I feel like everything was valuable. I would have just preferred to have fewer scenarios with each scenario being longer and more thorough including more components and distractions. I would also like to see more involved media relations components.

I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation to the instructor Adam Pendgras (spelling?). He really took the time to be positive, answer all of our questions, and give feedback for each role. I would have liked to have seen the other instructors do the same-- he really went above and beyond.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like an Advanced Response Training dealing with natural disasters (tornado, floods, etc).

As the PIO it was nice to see the insides and behind the scenes workings. Have worked with Fire ad PD but not so much the medical.

Would like to see the importance of communicating with the PIO stressed a little more. Some people in different roles do not understand the importance of getting a unified message out quick as possible.

I would think just building on the foundation. Going through the exercises can not be done enough.

The scenarios offered practical experience and a big picture of the operations during an active shooter incident. This has significantly increase my understanding of the response and operations of our LE and the coordination and communication that I can offer.

Some of the scenarios are not applicable to me. However, I am able to apply it to my school communications.

This was an excellent training. The trainers were very professional and did a great job of guiding all of us through the entire process.
