The elements discussing the Rescue Task Force were most valuable because that is something we are just now beginning to implement in my dept and it was interesting to learn about their function and how they can help.

Some elements regarding command. As a patrolman in a dept. with supervisors always available and on the road, it is more than likely a supervisor would respond to an active shooter simultaneously with the initial responding officers. However, I do think it is important for everyone to have that knowledge just in case.
