Command Positions in critical incident events.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

Virtual vs hands on (Role Play) like the LSU Active Shooter course provided.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

The virtual part of Contact teams and RTF's felt unpractical and did not provide as much reinforcement compared to the LSU course I attended. I felt that course was better for front end of critical incidents and more practical. This course felt more of a command/ics directed course.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

As a agency/county we need to practice this training at least twice a year for all to be competent in this process.

Learning all the different components to an active shooter incident.

The practical aspect. as a dispatcher it didn't feel as realistic since the responding officers more or less talked to each other rather than dispatch.

I think it would be a great idea to have a shorter class for just dispatch and the ways we can better support the responding personnel.
