Reunification was probably least valuable for my specific job BUT as a father it was invaluable to learn and prepare.

Add a few repetitions of each simulation. More reps are always helpful. Also, having a packet or handful of resources for us to take back to our respective agencies to help teach others ourselves.

I received valuable insight to the LEO and EMS/FD processes so that i can be more informed as a dispatcher.

The discussions about after action reports for incidents was not as valuable as other material covered, from the dispatch perspective.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

When reviewing the after action reports from various incidents it would be nice to get more information as to the impact on the call centers, call volume, and any decisions that were made by dispatch the positively/negatively effected the outcome. How can we learn from past experiences to enhance our roles as dispatch?.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to take another course in negotiations, or in helping deal with possible suspects who may call in to dispatch. I would also be interested in courses dealing with tactical dispatch.

The instructors all brought detailed experiences and passion to the class.

There were multiple times, groups were left unutilized and did not get to practice the skills learned in that module.

I enjoyed the class and understand the computer usage. I would like this to be a more hands on course. Actually practicing the movement and treatement along with not being in the line of sight of the commanders making decisions would be more beneficial in my opinion. There are time constraints so that would be the only reason to extend the timeline of the class.

Joint-Training with local Law enforcement and mutual aid departments.
