The most valuable was seeing how law enforcements responds to active shoooter or similar events and why they area requesting certain resources.

More realistic scenarios would be the only way to make this course better however that is not feasible.

I would like to see more about LE response to IEDs and focusing more on that than the overall incident command.

The instructors repeatedly stated that " this is not the only way, it is just a way." I understand this, but it is not how we will do things in this county so the exercises were not helpful and actually counterproductive in the way we will run one of these incidents. Our goal in our group was to not remember much of the content so we won't have training scars.

MOre on past incidents and how they were managed.
