The hands on and practical simulation made it real and helped the information to stick. I also liked how we would do one or two modules followed by immediate application of what we learned.

Running tactical, staging, and incident command boards were most valuable because they were the most busy/stressful positions for me and it was something I was not used to doing at all. Not only did we learn about these posts, but we actually got hands-on experience to help remember the things we learned.
