Full scale exercises that included all positions from initial contact teams up through area command was unique to have in one exercise and beneficial to learning.

Probably 2-3 too many scenario exercises. They got repetitive. The exercises were great, just too repetitive going from one to the next for 2 days.

Course could benefit from being longer, with breakout groups to decrease class size for discussions - debriefs need more detail on the tactical side.

Maybe some intel on the area you're going to be teaching in so you have an understanding of tactics locals use. RTF here goes in with security element. So you are prepared for how we have trained. Different philosophy but works for us. Lots of years of training to get here though.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Continued scenario based training, both tabletop and on scene utilizing all resources. We recently did large scale onsite training with Tactical Dispatchers, FD, and PD. Next time we need to include EMA.
