It gave me a better understanding of how police and fire communicate to each other and handle emergencies, the information they need at those events and their priorities.

The course discussed a lot of in depth information regarding the police/fire perspective but did not highlight the post recovery from an event that EM really is involved with.

Please provide any other comments or suggestions you have for improving this course.

I would clarify roles much more clearly, especially each time since new people were taking on roles with each practice but also the individuals participating that are not in the police/fire.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would say the survivor recovery/reunification trainings as well as anything that would cause lasting damage where EM would be involved, large fires from bombs and hazards that require multiple agency involvement and would impact the location directly.

I think doing more simulations would be great. If we could do a giant sim with more people involved would be great. I also think if we could move the different elements into different room that would add to the learning experience.
