Designate civilians with task/purpose. On day 2 and 3 provide less and less direction during the simulations to allow for more initiative of participants.

Working through the ICS process. With all the table top exercises it allowed you to work through the role you were given.

I did not think anything I learned was not valuable. The computers made it a little difficult but that was my fault.

I think having students have a Level 1 class or AAIR prior to them taking the course.

I would like to take the Train the Trainer.

There is definitely a need to marry the ALERRT training with this training. It was evident during the scenarios who had Level 1 and AAIR training.

The computers take a little bit away but help with making it more of a table top exercise.

The course as a whole was extremely valuable. This is the type of training all LE and Fire & EMS should be a part of.

The only downside was probably from DCJS. The lunches each day - although free - were underwhelming.

Fantastic course. The computer simulations complement other types of training such as TTX and reality-based exercises. The simulations were clearly well thought out, and encouraged / tested communication and coordination between LE, FD, EMS & Dispatch. Great job.
