The only improvement would some way to track which students have not had opportunities in tactical or staging roles. (if possible).

The hands on learning with tactical, command and staging. In most scenarios officers just get the officer job done and evaluate tactics. This training allowed the incident to play out and to see how important the organization and allocation of resources is.

The lectures were good lectures for a basic class however as an instructor on the topic myself I was aware of most course lecture material. I would like to see the case studies truly opened up to allow officers a chance to learn the history and fallout from real incidents.

Radio use- I Think it would be beneficial for responding agencies to use their own radios and a training frequency to not have poor radio transmissions.

The simulations were extremely helpful because we got to experience more of what would happen in a real world scenario than we would with scripted roleplaying.

All of it was valuable. The part that was least valuable was the materials on IED's only because it would have been the same to basically say "don't touch bombs ever".

This course was phenomenal. I have taken a few active shooter training courses and this is by far the best and most educational. We have already recommended our upper leadership to reach out to host this training again.
