I am EMS, so LE strategy is not my thing. However, I learned much from listening and learning how they operate.

It was awesome to train with multiple agencies and meet people from different counties who I would potentially work with in these scenarios.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I have a greater appreciation for dispatchers and the radio traffic they have to navigate through during lager incidents.

It was great to learn how to allocate resources by staging and deploying without everyone just running in. The organization aspect was great.

After day two EMS was kind of boring unless you sat in a triage or transport role. If not it was redundant. Exercises after day two seemed to be more suited for LE.

The simulations were extremely helpful. It drives the point and skills home a lot more than just reading a book.
