As a dispatcher learning about what goes on in the field was extremely helpful to develop training materials for our centre.

The table top exercise wasn't as valuable as the rest. Dispatch doesn't have much to do with this so I was a little lost.

Giving dipatchers copies of the maps would be extremely helpful. Maybe laminated with a dry erase to help us keep track of where units are. In real life dispatchers are tasked with knowing where their officers are at all times so this would be helpful to keep up that knowledge.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

More training on active shooters for the dispatch side of things.

Some of the lecture was a bit redundant, repetitive. Can be streamlined.

Use the scheduled time! We were released early every day, so there was either too much time scheduled or we could have run through another scenario or two - more repetition on the scenarios would help.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

More practical application training with our Fire Dept to tailor/fine tune how we will run Incident and Area Commands locally.
