Assuming the different roles in the practical exercises. This allowed me to see the needs and hurdles from different perspetives.

The Paris Attack...It threw arbitrary numbers that caused us to focus on them instead of the principles.

Very good instrcutors who did not frustrate , but instead enabled, allowing for info absorbtion to be maximized.

The actual scenarios. Often we attend training, as dispatchers, and become role players to enhance the training for LE. These exercises provided valuable training for us as well.

I don't have one portion that wasn't valuable.

The only improvements I have I discussed with the instructors- changing the last scenario to have different location names other than Seaport and Airport as that lead to confusion- and a foot pedal to handle ease with multiple incidents and the ability to manage multiple channels.

Continued exercises of this nature.

By the time some of the groups were assembled and deployed, there was not much left to do in the simulation. In real life I understand that would be different.

While simulations have limitations, the scenarios best replicate these large scale incidents and offer a perspective for each role in the process.

It would be nice to actually respond to a different location (a different or partitioned room) to better simulate going to different locations. This allows for more realistic radio branching and formation of the the command elements. But, you have maximized the potential given the terrain provided.
