As a dispatcher, learning what responders go through on scene helps me to do a better job in my position. It helps me to understand more what they need and why.

"Hot wash" of the hands-on experience wasn't valuable. Not much of what the PIO does has anything to do with my job.

This class was amazing. It was the most well-run class I have ever been to. The instructors were engaging and encouraging.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I believe some type of negotiation class for dispatchers would be very effective for some of the types of situations covered in this course.

The instructors were excellent! Their delivery of the material was easy to follow and understand. Even when dealing with some of the more technical aspects of the class they were able to keep the interest of the students.

I would possibly consider the all hazards class now that I have completed this one.

As a dispatcher, I believe our part was minimal and far from realistic. Considering MOST media outlets use the phone calls as evidence, it seems dispatch should also be a focus.

Scenarios were the most valuable but I really appreciated the way the lectures were integrated throughout rather than all at once.

Instructors were great and I especially appreciate they had different styles and back grounds. The class far exceeded my expectations. While I loved the simulators, it would be awesome to move to a virtual reality system.
