The repetition. The more experiences we have applying the tactics requires to successfully manage the event, the better we become.

The computer simulation. It seemed cumbersome at times. People struggled with getting the simulation to do what they wanted and that detracted from the thought process of getting through the evolutions.

Working in a command with Fire, EMS, and Police ... because it showed what it needed and what is expected.

The table top of the Paris attacks. I did not really get anything out of it except that there was a lot of things to consider. A majority of what was discussed for things that needed to be done would take place at a level far above most of the positions of the people in the class.

Get rid of the Paris Attack table top. I did not really gain anything from it.

The maps in the books could be printed individually and laminated which would allow better use while at the computers. It was difficult to keep the book open to the incident location.
