Frequently Asked Questions

SSAVEIM™ (School Safety and Violent Event Incident Management) Train the Trainer is a two-day (16-hour) course that builds one joint team and one shared school incident playbook for schools and first responders, including reunification. The course is designed to help schools and responders avoid training in silos and instead align roles, expectations, and coordination before a crisis.

SSAVEIM Train the Trainer is intended for a cross-functional group of trainer candidates representing school staff, law enforcement, and fire/EMS, with emergency management participation encouraged. The course is built to unify stakeholders who may need to coordinate during a school safety incident.

Each delivery is structured for 9 trainer candidates: 3 law enforcement, 3 fire/EMS, and 3 school staff. On Day 2, trainer candidates run an 8-hour course for up to 40 participants to demonstrate they can deliver the program.

You keep the curriculum, ASIM Checklists, reunification tools, and LMS access so you can refresh training annually or more and document completion. Note: the brochure specifies the Counterstrike Schools reunification kit is sold separately.
