Figure 9 flowchart: BTAM case process from report to full assessment
Figure 9 (the left half of a two-page flowchart) starts at a received report and asks whether it involves an imminent threat to life. If yes, it goes to Emergency Response and loops until the situation is stabilized, then to Move to Full Assessment. If no, it asks whether the report is actionable and credible: if yes, a Preliminary Inquiry (initial interviews and records review, analysis of available information) leads to the question of whether there is a safety concern; if no, Make Referral to Alternative Resources.
