The following are summaries of the 34 active shooter attacks in 2025, presented chronologically by their date of occurrence.

On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at approximately 11:09 a.m., a 17 year old male armed with a handgun opened fire on people inside the cafeteria of Antioch High School.

The shooting resulted in one student fatality and two student injuries. The shooter died by suicide at the scene before law enforcement could intervene.

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a 21 year old male armed with a rifle began shooting at people outside Southern Hens Inc. There were no casualties and the shooter was killed at the scene by security personnel.

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at approximately 10:19 p.m., a 28 year old male armed with a handgun began shooting people inside the KDC/One Warehouse.

The shooting resulted in two fatalities and four injuries. Law enforcement apprehended the shooter at a different location the following day.

On Monday, February 17, 2025, at approximately 1:34 p.m., a 28 year old male armed with a rifle opened fire on people outside the Harris Teeter. The attack resulted in two fatalities.

An off-duty federal law enforcement agent killed the shooter.

On Sunday, March 23, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a 34 year old male armed with multiple weapons began shooting at occupied Amazon vans along C.F. Harvey Parkway and NC 11. There were no casualties and law enforcement apprehended the shooter after he crashed his vehicle at a different location.

On Monday, March 31, 2025, at approximately 9:36 p.m., a 30 year old male armed with a handgun began shooting people inside Walgreens, killing one person. Law enforcement officers apprehended the shooter at the scene.
