Shawn's additional responsibilities include intelligence liaison to the Northeast Florida Fusion Center, a central point for multi-hazard intelligence sharing throughout Florida, specifically Northeast Florida. Shawn has been assigned to multiple divisions within the department including Suppression, Training, and currently assigned to Emergency Preparedness. Coordinate Training and Exercises throughout Duval County and the Consolidated City of Jacksonville. Instruct multiple emergency management-related fields including NIMS, ICS, and exercise evaluation. Instruct multiple fire service-related fields including hazardous materials, search and rescue, firefighter safety and survival, firefighter health, and safety programs, and live fire evolutions.
