Shawn Hall is currently working with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department as a Captain. He also has 15+ years of experience teaching in all areas of emergency medical services, fire service, hazardous materials response, search and rescue, and emergency management topics.
Shawn's additional responsibilities include intelligence liaison to the Northeast Florida Fusion Center, a central point for multi-hazard intelligence sharing throughout Florida, specifically Northeast Florida. Assignments include liaising with local law enforcement, emergency management, fire service, and healthcare partners regarding information and intelligence sharing.

Shawn has been assigned to multiple divisions within the department including Suppression, Training, and currently assigned to Emergency Preparedness Coordinate Training and Exercises throughout Duval County and the Consolidated City of Jacksonville. He instructs in multiple emergency management-related fields including NIMS, ICS, and exercise evaluation. He also instructs in multiple fire service-related fields including hazardous materials, search and rescue, firefighter safety and survival, firefighter health, and safety programs, and live fire evolutions. He was assigned as a Fire / Emergency Management Liaison to the Northeast Florida Fusion Center (assigned November 2015), working with area intelligence partners including the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Intelligence Unit, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Regional Office.

He instructed in both a didactic and practical application entry-level Emergency Medical Service Training, specifically Emergency Medical Technician.
