Scott Formankiewicz is a 15-year veteran of the City of Beloit Fire Department. His multifaceted roles as a fire department officer, TEMS Commander, national instructor and co-founder of a Trauma Preparedness Center underscore his expertise in emergency medical services. As an instructor with the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), Scott teaches Tactical Medical care to new SWAT medics as well as officer training for Active Threat/Shooting events. Scott was selected to represent NTOA as an instructor in Dubai for their police force. Scott is a staunch advocate for tactical medics being part of SWAT teams. In his role as an instructor, Scott has taught various Casualty Care courses for the Workplace, Classroom and Tactical Emergency as well as state certification firefighter classes.
