Peter A. Kelting is a Lieutenant for the Seminole County Sheriff's Office with 29 years of service. Pete has instructed countless hours of in-house agency courses and provided seminars for members of the public. He was a member of the SWAT Team for 11 years, rising to Team Leader, and served as the SWAT Coordinator of the Region 5 Anti-Terrorism Task Force for Central Florida. Pete was attached to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for 9 years as a Task Force Agent and Group Supervisor, leading the Central Florida HIDTA Heroin Task Force. Lt. Kelting is a certified FDLE Law Enforcement Instructor for Seminole State College teaching High Risk Tactical courses, Level C PPE courses, and Active Shooter for Law Enforcement. He's been an NTOA Instructor since 2003, instructing SCBA Tactical Operations in a Hazardous Environment.
