Mark Rhame

Mark works with the development, design and execution of Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation compliant exercises that validate emergent and routine event management skills, analyzes firefighting and emergency medical services tactics and strategies, and conducts hands on incident command training based on NIMS/ICS guidelines for single and multiple public safety disciplines.

2010 - 2011, Division Chief, Training: Development and implementation of training programs for members. Programs include self-paced adult learning, company level training, multi-company drills, remedial and annual driver operator training, Command and Control School for incident commanders and simulation training for incident command and non-emergency and emergency driver training. Budgetary supervision and control of the annual budget for the Training Division. 2007 - 2010, Division Chief, Operations: Supervisory role over the Operations Division including all aspects of emergency and non-emergency response, short and long term planning, personnel issues, public relations, and all other aspects related to the position of Operations Division Chief. Budgetary development, supervision and control of the annual budget for the Operations Division. 2006 - 2007, Assistant Chief: Served as ranking 24-hr shift response officer supervising all on-duty Battalion Chiefs (6). 2001 - 2006, Battalion Chief: Supervisory role over five to six fire stations and the personnel assigned to them. Daily responsibilities include payroll, staffing, emergency and non-emergency response, scheduling, and other duties associated with the position of Battalion Chief. 1994 - 2001, Lieutenant / Paramedic: Company officer supervising an ALS engine and an ALS rescue ambulance.

Mark supervised the day-to-day administration and operations of the department.
