Jason Kelley retired as an Officer after 26 years of service with City of Beloit Police Department. During his time with the Beloit Police Department, he was awarded many police commendations like the Award of Excellence, 5x Excellence in Training, Distinguished Service Medal, Exemplary Officer Award and many others. As an officer, he was diligent that the tactics and skills he was training in were cutting edge while focusing on the safety of the citizens of Beloit and fellow officers. Kelley was active in his community and every once in a while could be found showing off his basketball skills with the local youth. He has over two decades of leadership coordinating, planning and conducting hundreds of tactical operations (SWAT). Jason has had two articles published in the Tactical Edge (NTOA). He has several law enforcement instructor certifications and medical training that have assisted him as an expert instructor.

Responded to variety of calls for service, enforced traffic laws, local ordinances, and state statutes. Field Training Officer (FTO) for probationary officers, lead department trainer in firearms, tactics, and Active Shooter response. Senior member and trainer of the department's Tactical Operations Unit (SWAT). Lead Evidence Technician for gun-related crime scenes. Trained the community in Active Shooter response and TECC.
