Dan Williams continues to enjoy his 34-years of dedication to Fire and EMS in southern Wisconsin. He served for over 20 years as a firefighter/EMT, then Lieutenant for a volunteer agency, and continues to serve in his 28-year long professional career as a Fire Lieutenant and Paramedic for the City of Madison Fire Department. In addition to his Fire & EMS duties, Dan takes pride in serving as the regional trauma system coordinator for 13 counties. Dan championed the Wisconsin Tourniquet Initiative for Law Enforcement, which provided a tourniquet device to every requesting law enforcement officer in the state. He is passionate about better integrating all first responders and health care providers to promote optimal outcomes.
