The course outlined what needs to happen when such events take place such as First LE on scene etc. This is helpful becuase it puts into perspective who has what duty.

The medical portion of the course. This was not as useful because I have no experience with anythign medical.

I feel like there should be a larger Communications/Dispatch portion for these types of training they are very field oriented and that is a needed aspect but dispatch aspect is where it starts and is a critical link throughout the incidents.

Negotiations and bomb squad just for education.

Working in dispatch learning what my responsibilites are in a situation such as the ones we practiced helped me to be able to be ready at my job and know what is exceptec of me.

I do not think any part of the course was not important to me. I believe knowing dispatch, law enforcement and fire/ems responsibilites help me understnad the whole situation.

I will be looking into a hostage situation classes to know how to talk to a person in that situation.
