The part of the course that was most valuable to me was the practical exercise part of the course. Personally, I learn best by watching other people perform a task that I am trying to learn. I also enjoyed the fact that I had the opportunity to perform the exercise first hand.

Every part of the course was valuable, however, for me, the power-point portion of the instruction was least valuable to me because I learn best by watching the action in real time or by performing the exercise myself.

Another part of training that is very important to this area is that of firearms training and CQB training/how to clear rooms and buildings.

The priorities of what needs to be conducted during an active shooter event. "Stop the killing, stop the dying" is a powerful phase.

Understanding law enforcement's roles within these situations. Considering all the moving parts and coordination required to successfully apprehend an active shooter it's useful knowing what your role is exactly when you show up.

I don't think any of the information in this course is not useful because I need to know who and what everyone iOS doing and why their doing it but for me personally probably the designation of hot and cold zones because it's self explanatory but it is important to visually have these zones identified in the event Ems doesn't know where to go.

An interactive training module where you can click on choices you'd make and then a pop up menu discussing you're choice and why it's wrong or correct.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

After completing this course I believe the actual apprehension or confronting the shooter type of training would be vital.
