Being a Communications Supervisor, I have been working on a process/procedure/policy for active threats for Dispatch. Some of the information gained from this course gave me another perspective so that I know what is going on outside of the walls of Dispatch to better aid responders on scene.

The part that was most valuable was the second to last incident where one of the instructors simulated a 911 call of a hostage/barricaded shooter. For dispatch, this was very helpful to most realistically simulate a real situation.
